Respected Authorities Gather
Phillips presents this world-class collection, gathered by the renowned collectors, authors, and respected authorities on vintage Heuer: Richard Crosthwaite and Paul Gavin. Well known throughout the Heuer collecting community for their unsurpassed knowledge and eye for detail, their collection comprises some of the rarest and most important collectible Heuer models in existence.
Books On Vintage Heuer
Based in the UK, Crosthwaite and Gavin have been friends for over a decade. Their love and passion for vintage Heuer has culminated in two books widely considered as the references for Heuer’s iconic Autavia and Monaco models: the first, “Heuer Monaco, Design Classic” and the second, “Heuer Autavia Chronographs 1962-85”. A third book dedicated to the Carrera model will be published by the duo in the spring of 2017.
Illustrating the importance of the collection to be offered, many of the watches featured in these books will be offered during this thematic sale.
