Luxury Moment: Pondering Relaxation
While to some it may seem that relaxing is a luxury at Eat Love Savor Magazine, we think of it more as a necessity.
It feels luxurious to relax, but that does not mean that it is a strictly luxurious experience. Before we all got busy with full lives, became do-ers and filled our days from morning to night with activities, lounging was a valued pass time. It was revered for its nurturing qualities for children, for bringing people together, for encouraging us to read, for stimulating creative thought, for reducing blood pressure and easing stress, for putting smiles on people’s faces, for allowing oneself to take in and savor the moments. Next time you think you can squeeze in just one more thing into your day, why not replace a things or two with relaxing instead? Do you relax enough?
